What is ZOAT?

ZOAT stands for 'Zuid Oost Asie Toernooi' (Dutch for: Southeast Asia Tournament), and is an annual field hockey tournament between Dutch expatriate hockey teams from various South East Asian countries.

The tournament is organized, on rotation basis, in Jakarta, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

Next to the various organizing countries, there are also teams present from China, Brunai, Australia and recently also Vietnam.

Kombinasi traditionally shows up with a strong, and very competitive squat which led to many finals in recent years. One of the many highlights was the winning final in 2005 in Bangkok, against Singapore (2-0).
